So Friday December 12th I finally got up to Tahoe/Truckee!
I am spending the winter here just to ride and kick it with some very good friends!
I could not be more excited!
Friday night i got to ride for a few runs, then it dumped snow and has been snowing ever since!!

What a Bummer!
Working in retail, I often hear a lot of talk about other companies and dealers. I work for Vans and I sell skateboards out of my shop all the time, hence I am involved with many companies such as Baker, Element, and all the top skating companies, every now and then I will walk out having met the Rep. for say Creature or some skate company, and sometimes I will walk out with a fresh deck right out of the factory. Recently I have heard the news that two of the top selling skate companies, ELEMENT and FLIP skateboards are going under. They can no longer keep their head's above the water in this odd economic time that we are in right now. Sad to say, because ELEMENT is one of the most well known skate companies out there now a days. It is quiet scary if you think about it. If the top company can't keep a float, how the hell is everyone else?

MAMMOTH + TAHOE SHRED!
This past week was the original scheduled opening day of Mammoth Mountain! But thankfully, many of us were lucky enough to get to enjoy EARLY november snow. Mammoth actually opened November 3rd! A week and a half before scheduled opening.
Aaron, Sealevel, Justin, Uber Dan, Ashley Cooter, Gaby, Gypsy Jack, and I got to role up Wed. November 12th, to be able to ride Thursday. We did not get there untill 2 am, and we were welcomed by Justin, Aaron, and Uber with them nearly butt naked in robes drinking whiskey.
The rooms were very very classy, fire place, robes, kitchen, everything we wanted. The riding was supper good on Thursday, but it was very warm and slushy, it felt just like a spring day, and there is nothing better than a spring day. Friday it got a little warmer and softer, we were getting stuck in some spots down roadrunner.
Saturday came and i rode hung over AGAIN! for a few hours, then ducked out to Tahoe to see Kari's new place and meet all her roomies! Once again we partied, and ended up not riding Boreal due to 60 degree weather. Overall GREAT FUCKING WEEK!!!!

CD Release!
When I was in high school, I was lucky enough to meet a great friend of mine, Aaron Carr. We had both been in and out of bands trying to find the perfect mix. Finally Aaron and I got talking and soon realized we had the perfect makings of a band. A few weeks later, Aaron and I called some friends over to jam and see what we could make of it.
Shortly after The King Is Dead (TKID) was formed. Named after an Everytime I Die Lyric. Two and a half years later, after many member changes, after many, many shows, and writing many songs together we as a band are glad to release our very first full length EP/CD.
We are very proud of this CD, out of the 16 songs we have wrote with each other, we were able to record 9 of them in Johnny's garage, then moved those recordings into Johnny's studio in which he was interning at, to finish up vocals, master, and mix the CD.
In the end we did everything ourselves. We are finally releasing our very long over due CD out into public~~~~!!~

Raging on a Thursday Evening.
Recently my buddy Adam had turned 21! being one of the first out of my group of friends to reach the age of becoming a legal drunk/alcoholic! In which everyone in my group of friends one day dreams of reaching! Since that lovely day that he turned 21 and magically became legal to buy alcohol, he had put a bar in his ten foot long and 3 foot wide room in his garage. This bar being filled with every flavor of Absolute Vodka, and Absinthe and just about everything else a young teen could dream of getting their hands on!
HAPPY 21st Adam!
So anyway we are officially throwing a party for his 21 this Saturday in a hotel some where in Anaheim this weekend, and since I have work early morning the next Sunday at 8 am, i decided to get drunk tonight!
Boy oh boy! 3 shots of Absinthe, 4 shots of whatever Adam made me and a beer and I am feeling good, and i must say the bar is excellent!
HIGHLIGHTS OF EVENING! :
Taking 2 shots of absinthe and Aaron already complaining that he is going to vomit, so we go outside, holding hands to go pee on a bush (Because Adam lives in a garage and does not have a toilet) and Aaron immediately starts to vomit. I ask "You good man?" and Aaron responds, "yea man im good." then we both go to our separate corners of the bush and start to urinate. As Aaron is urinating, he starts to vomit once again!!! As he is 1.Peeing, 2.Vomiting, his body then decides to turn on him very quickly!!! and he lets out a HUGE FART!!! As i am only 3 feet away from him at this point I quickly start to crack up and run around in circles thinking this is the greatest thing that has ever happened to me!
Therefore to inform people about the greatness of what just happened, I call Kari to let her know wtf just happened and end up getting into a very intense and heated debate about how I hate the holes in boxer briefs and I believe it is incredibly stupid for them to make them with holes for your penis! It takes more time to get your penis through the damn hole then to just pull your boxers down!!!
And after that heated argument I then decided to pull my pants down, and apparently to Kari this was not enough, so I pulled my penis and balls out to rotate around in a 360 degree motion as if it was my hand waving goodbye to Robert as he drove home early and sober!
Robert then preceded to call everyone else at the rage-fest that I was out of my mind flashing people! I began to wonder drunklingly and I noticed someone was following me, It was Josalyn! and we began to ponder life and all of the greatest things about it!
So as I am sitting here trying to sober up next to my Father, who has yet to fall asleep at 1:34 am on a Friday morning. Some how he has not yet realized i am drunk and can barley stand, let a lone sit in this fucking chair next to him!

And I decided! That I work too much, and need to get drunk MUCH MORE OFTEN!

Start 7/22/08
Start. I made this blog to just keep track of what's going down in the world, with such related things and Snowboarding, Surfing,Skateboarding, Shows, anything a long these lines. I also am putting this out there for anyone and everyone of my friends or asociates can read to see what goes down.
Things to start off with:
I live for snowboarding, surfing, skating, music, and anything that will bring me anxiety, before or after i do it. Anderline is what i want. Pushing myself every day to try somthing new whether it be to throw a b/s 540 over a 50 foot booter for my first time or to try octopous raw for the first time. I snowboard an average of 40 days a year, and every season i push it up a few numbers, this up and coming season i look to push 60.
I work full time at a Van's shoes store, and i am on the management team, which only gives me about 2 days off a week to cruise up to Big Bear, or Mammoth Mountain to get a few laps in. From where i live, Big Bear is 2 hours away depending on traffic, and Mammoth is 6 hours, however my Pop does own a airplane a long with a few other people, so usually once a year i will fly up to Mammoth for the day, which approximatley is a hour and a half flight (Not Bad!!!)
This blog will just be me posting things i will want to remember over the next year or two, such as a good and rare powder day at bear mtn, or the day i get promoted to assitant manager at my job, whatever it may be, i will be posting small things such as me and my buddy just cracking a few good jokes.
